Lawson Software Purchases Enwisen For $70 Million

Lawson Software has revealed its plans to purchase Enwisen, a vendor of human resources software, for $70 million

Enwisen, based in Novato, California has an impressive array of customers, including Microsoft, Nissan and Comcast. The company is the vendor of AnswerSource, a software service suit that provides employees with a personalized human resources information and includes a case management application that permits customer service representatives to access that knowledge.

AnswerSource also offers a software package that is designed to help companies with new hires as well as employees leaving the company.
