Only 24 States See Unemployment Rate Fall in May

This is down from April of this year, which saw unemployment rates drop for 39 states due to more employers hiring at that time. It is believed that a weaker economy, the price of gas, and lower output from factories are the main reasons that job growth is slowing down. The overall unemployment rate in the US went up to 9.1% in the month of May.
