People are Not Reluctant to Move if Needed in the US, Staying Put Not a Key Factor in US Unemployment
Post Views 0The rising unemployment has been helped very little by the reluctance of home owners to sell their houses to move to other states for a job. The research by Chicago Federal Reserve Bank showed that people in states with steeper housing price decline were as likely to move as people in states with less decline in housing prices. This “may be good news for the unemployment rate.”
