Lucille J. Cavanaugh, the vice president of Human Resource for the Exxon Mobil Corporation, has recently announced her plans to retire on the 1st of April this year. Her retirement will be coming very shortly, as it is only a few months away. Cavanaugh has, in the meantime, provided over 34 years of service and is ready to hand the torch over to someone else. It is expected that Malcolm Farrant will be elected the new vice president of Human Resource for the Exxon Mobil Corporation after Cavanaugh officially retires. There has already been a lot of speculation that he will be chosen to take over as the vice president of Human Resource for the Corporation but only time will tell. As of recently, Farrant is actually working as the executive assistance for the chairman at the corporation. He does have the experience to take on the position which will generally make him a good candidate when it comes time to fill the position.

Cavanaugh was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and first started working with the Mobile Corporation in the summer of 1977. She has gained so much experience throughout her career, working on a number of different projects, which include supply management, marketing management, and petroleum refining. She has worked as the managing director, the general manager, and the vice president. She became vice president of Human Resources for the company in 2002 and has stuck with the position ever since. Cavanaugh currently serves as one of the members on the board for the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.

Malcolm Farrant is actually a native of the United Kingdom. He lived there for a long period of time, up until he was transferred to the United States. He first began working for the Mobil Corporation in the spring of 1983, at some point during the month of March. He received his Bachelor of Science from the prestigious Nottingham University. Since his time working for the Mobile Corporation, he has worked within several different positions, many of which have helped him gain more experience and have also increased his responsibilities, especially when it came to marketing and other departments. Farrant was transferred over to the United States in 2006 and has been there ever since. His current position is located at the headquarters of Exxon Mobil, which is located in Irving, Texas. He has been working within his most recent position since the summer of 2011.
