Survey Shows Upturn Predicted for LA Job Market

It is predicted Los Angeles County will experience it’s largest job market increase since the great recession. The results of a survey are shared in the article which indicates there are significantly more businesses planning to hire than cut, and they are predicting a 12 percent net employment gain. This has made many employers and employees excited. Recent stock market increases strengthen this outlook. There is some fear that many of the new jobs will be temporary, but one commentator highlights that eventually these temporary jobs will become permanent.
