SB-157 Introduced in Colorado
Post Views 1Bill SB-157 has been introduced in the Colorado State Senate. This could result in the lost of jobs throughout the state and risk billions of investment broadband. The bill hopes to divert 60 million dollars a year from international long distance calls into a special high cost fund which the government will use to improve rural telephone and internet access. Critics of the bill feel it creates an unnecessary bureaucracy. Despite the government’s assurances this is a job creation bill, critics feel it will hurt jobs.
