Library of Classics for the Teething Set

Board books are basically small short picture books for very young babies, who are more apt to chew on the book than to listen to the book being read. However, mothers of young children are all over the new idea of board books that are based on old classics, like Moby Dick and Les Miserables, as well as famous artists that are known as classical. It’s been stated many times that parents of young children should read to them early, and read to them a lot. That way the connections which are required for language to develop will develop more aggressively. Can we really expect a baby to understand the plot or story of something like Moby Dick? Certainly that’s a little ridiculous, but it will expose the baby to words. The BabyLit series as well as the Cozy Classics line of board books for babies are both based on classical literature. However, none of the books actually tries to lay out a complex plot. Instead, they are just stories designed to serve as an introduction to counting, or to colors and opposites. The idea is that babies can actually follow a simple story to some degree, and that the story will get their attention to be able to learn. This, as well as simply exposing them to classical literature, can be a benefit to their cranial performance later in life.
