Scammers have been recently taking advantage of the unemployed by posting fake ads for local jobs. The job seekers are told to deposit money along with their resume to hear about a job. However, the con artists simply pocket the money without any intention of providing them with a job. Police are asking potential job seekers to exercise caution when dealing with these kind of advertisements.
