Diabetes Supply Firm to Add 50 Sweet Jobs; Gives Economy a Leg Up

Liberator Medical Supply will expand its Stuart, Florida headquarters and create 50 positions.

Mark Libratore, Liberator’s founder and CEO, said the jobs will range from sales and customer service to insurance verification. They will pay an average of about $15 an hour.

Liberator is spending $100,000 to build out 5,515 square feet of call center space at its 25,000-square-foot headquarters. Construction is expected to wrap up in early spring.

The firm, which now employs about 100, has expanded advertising, using the proceeds of two recent debt offerings totaling $6 million.

In addition to diabetes supplies, Liberator sells mail-order urological, mastectomy and ostomy products.
