Ocean State Job Lot Expanding Schenectady Store

Ocean State Job Lot, a retail chain with more than 80 stores, will expand its store in Schenectady, New York.

The store will expand from 25,000 square feet to 40,000 square feet. The project was approved by the city planning commission last night.

Ocean State is increasing staff as well, adding 10 jobs. There are currently 30 workers at the store.

Ocean State Job Lot, headquartered in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, is a chain of 85 discount stores operating in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Upstate New York.
