AirborneAirborne Maintenance & Engineering Services, or AMES, will create 430 jobs over the next two years, as it takes over 300,000 square feet at Wilmington, Ohio’s air park, formerly used by DHL.

The firm is hiring 325 this year, and 100 in 2010. Most of the jobs will be in airplane maintenance and repair.

So far 260 workers have been hired, but officials said there is still time to apply for accountant and utility technician jobs.

The State of Ohio gave AMES $5 million in tax incentives.
