First Niagara Bank Hiring 120 in New York State
Post Views 2First Niagara Bank is holding a job fair this weekend in Buffalo, to fill 120 open positions in Western New York State.
The new positions range across all levels of experience.
In April, First Niagara agreed to buy 57 National City branches in Western Pennsylvania from PNC Financial Services. It will take over those branches in September.
First Niagara Bank is an FDIC-insured regional banking corporation headquartered in Lockport, New York. It was founded in 1870 as Farmers & Mechanics’ Savings Bank, and was then re-branded as Lockport Savings Bank in 1967. The bank was based in its home county, Niagara until the 1990s when it spread to nearby Buffalo, New York and its surrounding Erie County, New York.
