The firm has been offered $64,000 in One North Carolina Fund incentives, and will invest $4.8 million itself into the expansion. The jobs will pay an average of $42,000 per year.

Fort Smith, Arkansas-based Baldor Electric Company markets, designs, and manufactures industrial electric motors, mechanical power transmission products, drives, and generators. It was founded in 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri. Baldor operates 26 manufacturing facilities around the world.
