johnsoncontrols_160x120Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Johnson Controls will close its Dixon, Illinois plant in October, laying off 211 people.

The plant manufactures industrial refrigeration equipment for the food & beverage industry.

The firm announced in March it would cut jobs and close 10 manufacturing plants.

Johnson Controls employs 140,000 people.
