Urban Brands Welcomes Brown as Exec VP of HR

Secaucus, New Jersey’s Urban Brands has appointed David Brown as its Executive Vice-President of Human Resources.

Brown joins from Linens ‘n Things, where he served as Senior Vice-President of Human Resources. He was also co-founder and Managing Director of the executive search firm Bridge Partners.

Urbam Brands own the plus-size African-American clothing chain Ashley Stewart, which has 220 locations in 25 states, the District of Columbia, and the US Virgin Islands. Its Marianne chain, which markets to Latinas, has 55 stores in the US, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Urban Brands is majority owned by Trimaran Advisors.
