Report: Massachusetts Rail Project Would Create 3,800 Jobs
Post Views 0The Massachusetts’ Governor’s Office has issued a report, that a commuter rail project linking New Bedford and Fall River to Boston would create up to 3,800 permanent jobs by 2030. The project would cost $1.4 billion.
The construction phase of the project would create up to 8,000 temporary jobs.
The MBTA Commuter Rail system is a regional rail network that shares its tracks with inter-city passenger and freight trains.
