84 Jobs From Subsidized Bakery Site in Clayton, NC

Northeast Foods Inc., a national contract baker for the commercial and fast-food industries, is opening a 80,000-square-foot bakery in Clayton. As compared to the county average salary of $31,408, the new jobs being created will be averaging $41,815.

President Bill Paterakis said “Our vision is to continue being an industry leader in innovation by continually setting the highest standards in quality and service. This expansion will allow us to continue to provide the highest quality products to McDonald’s and their customers in this part of the U.S.”

Spring of 2011 is the anticipated opening date, partially being made possible by a $350,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
