ohioflag_160x120An $872,000 credit was approved Monday for a manufacturing company to create a new site in Brookfield, Ohio. The credit was given the approval by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority. The company, a subsidiary of IPSCO Koppel Tubular Corporation is to provide tubular steel products that are used in the oil and natural gas exploration industry.

Walt Good, the chamber’s vice president of economic development said “On the heels of V&M’s announcement last week, this is a big step in our efforts to land another significant Valley economic development project.” He continued, “The chamber will not rest on the laurels of last week’s win as we continue to aggressively work to bring jobs to the area, so that we can grow and diversify our local economic base.”
