The Best Job Market for Young Adults

A study conducted by Portfolio.com declares Austin, Texas to be the best place in the country for young adults to find a new job.  Austin stands out because it continues to add jobs to its economy. Two thirds of the job markets in the U.S. have fewer jobs now than five years ago but Austin has added 99,200 jobs in the same time period. The employment growth rate is at 2.8 %, the fastest in the country. Austin also has the largest percentage of young adults. 28% of Austin’s residents are between 18 and 34 years old.
