Via Christi Hospitals Hires Grubs as HR Vice President

Via Christi Hospitals Wichita has hired Lori Grubs as its new vice president of human resources.

Grubs, who has more than 25 years of HR experience, most recently served as vice president of HR for Cessna Aircraft Co. Her health care experience includes consulting work for Catholic Health Initiatives, Christus Health System, Tenet Healthcare Corp., Memorial Hermann health care system in Houston, and Methodist Hospital and St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

According to the Wichita Business Journal, Via Christi has been hiring to fill positions at all its facilities. A new west Wichita hospital is slated for 300 employees and about half of the positions have already been filled.
