A new vaccine production facility is coming to North Carolina that will create 85 jobs, the Associated Press reports.
Canada-based Medicago USA Inc. plans to open the facility in Durham. Salaries will average more than $50,000.
The facility will be 90,000 square feet and located in Research Triangle Park. It will be able to produce 10 million doses of influenza vaccine a month, the company said.
Medicago Inc. is a publicly traded company and is based in Quebec.
