Life Medical Technologies to Create 250 Jobs in NY

Life Medical Technologies is planning on creating some 250 jobs in New York, incentivized by a $2 million grant from Empire State Development.

A biomedical company that manufactures equipment for the early detection of breast cancer, they will have some benchmarks to make in order to receive the grant money. The mandate is to create 250 jobs and spend $7.5 million on equipment, furniture, and website development within the next three years.

“We’re 100 percent confident this was the place to be, and we’re 100 percent confident about meeting the milestones set for us by New York state,” said Life Medical Technologies CEO Carol Fitzgerald.
