AEC_logo Over 159 new jobs are on the way as Aero Engine Controls, a multinational company that manufactures, develops and invents best engine controls, decided to invest in Indianapolis, Indiana. Aero Engine Controls, a joint venture between Rolls Royce and the Goodrich Corporation, Indiana Lt., is now moving its engineering center to the Indianapolis International Airport. The new jobs, mostly mechanic posts, will be created over the next two years.

Indiana Governor Becky Skillman and Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard made the announcement yesterday. Skillman said that the Aero Engine Controls’ investment is a proof that the state of Indiana remains attractive for companies. “New investment from a fast-growing, international firm like Aero Engine Controls is further evidence that Indiana can compete and win over locations across the globe.” Skillman added that the additional jobs will help the state’s local economy. “Today Indiana’s robust defense and engineering sector receives another boost of high-tech jobs and that is great news for our economy.”
