Employers Will Have Less Time to Act in Unionization Process Under Proposed NLRB Rules
Post Views 0On June 22nd, the Federal Register will include amendments to the National Labor Relations Act. The renewed regulations will revamp the process of unionization by having workers simply vote to be unionized or not. This will reduce the pre and post elections processes that can seem long and unnecessary. For instance there will be electronic filing of petitions and documents. Also, making the mandatory Board review of postelection decisions voluntary will reduce lengthy procedures. Brian Hayes is strongly opposing these amendments on the basis that they violate employers’ rights during unionization.
