Social media sites widely used by employers

A recent survey among 120 companies by the law firm Proskauer Rose revealed that more than three quarters of companies worldwide use social network sites like Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter for business purposes — and more than four in 10 have problems with employees misusing the sites, while three in 10 said they’d disciplined workers for unacceptable behavior on the sites but surprisingly 45% of the participants had no formal social media policy.
