Appeals Court Rules that Health Care Reform Mandate is Unconstitutional
Post Views 0According to the US court of appeals, the federal government can not force one to purchase health insurance by citing the commerce clause. However, the 11th Circuit Court ruled that the coverage mandate was indeed constitutional. The conflicting viewpoints/rulings almost assure that the ruling will go to the Supreme Court for a final decision. But due to the nature of the Supreme Court, the decision will likely not be made until October.
