New Human Resources Director

The city manager of Ardmore, J.D. Spohn, recently made an announcement. The announcement was made to introduce the new human resources director for the city. Jaime Watts will now serve as the human resources director for Ardmore City.

There was a lot of time and effort put into finding the right human resources director for the city. The committee had to go through several interviews with different potential candidates until they found the right person who seemed to be the perfect fit for the position. And in this instance, Watts was the best decision for the city. Spohn says that the entire search committee was very impressed with Watts and her background. They believed that she will be the perfect addition to the management team and they are excited to bring her on in. Watts stood out from all of the other applicants, which consisted of about 30 people.

Watts lived in different cities in the state of Oklahoma and eventually attended the Oklahoma City University, which is where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree. After earning her Bachelor’s, she went on and continued her education, obtaining a Law Degree from the University as well. Within the past three years, she has worked as the human resources director in a city located in the state of Arizona. However, she wanted to come back to the state because she has family living in the area. Her son and her grandchild, Emma, live in the metro area of Oklahoma City and she yearned to be closer to them.

Watts says that she is excited to move to Ardmore and believes that it is the perfect place for her and her husband. Watts says that every single one of the department managers have been warm and welcoming to her, embracing their new human resources director. She is excited to begin working as the human resources director for the city of Ardmore, especially since she has a love for human resources and is a senior professional of human resources. Watts says she enjoys being able to help people and assist them with their needs, helping people to gain confidence in her ability to listen and sort out these issues for them.

As the human resources director, Watts will earn a salary of $90,000 each year. She will also get a car allowance of up to $500 and will receive the same type of package that the other city employees have received. She will have dental insurance, medical insurance, and retirement as well.
