Here’s some advice on the competitive job market. When you need to choose between day job and a higher paying side job, just figure out your preference. If it is a financially stable and consistent income that you are looking for, it would be easier for you to leave the day job. Always try to follow up with the firms to which you have send resumes, as this will let them know you sent a resume and maybe you will get some sort of feedback, and always look-up in job boards for specific field of your expertise.
