Post Views 0The new OTC (Over The Counter) drug restriction requires every consumer to obtain a doctor’s prescription in order to have costs reimbursed by any flexible spending or health savings’ plan. This new restriction will lead to the increase of doctors’ visits and healthcare costs. In the effort to reduce unnecessary visits and healthcare costs, the House and Senate are working on deciding any or all six bills with different provisions of repealing the OTC drug restriction.
