South Korea Biotech Firm Bringing $50 Million and 200 Jobs to Vermont
Post Views 0Vermont Governor Jim Douglas is on a tour of Asia trying to drum up foreign investment for his state under the EB-5 Visa program. Under EB-5, foreigners that invest money in American companies can obtain a green card. South Korea’s AnC Bio has agreed to create an American affiliate based in Vermont and will open a $50 million facility in 2011. The facility, which will make biomedical supplies including dialysis machines and conduct some R&D, is expected to create upwards of 200 jobs.
