MGM Mirage Opens CityCenter Employment Center to Handle Hiring [Video]

The MGM Mirage is preparing to hire 12,000 workers in Las Vegas, and has opened the CityCenter Employment Center to handle screenings and interviews. In the first week alone, 35,000 people have applied online.

The amount of applications represents an unfortunate sign of the times in Las Vegas, as their unemployment rate rises and people struggle to keep their homes. The opening is a positive step in rebuilding the Las Vegas economy.

The center is open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the $9 billion project opens.
