Dean HealthMadison, Wisconsin health care provider Dean Health System will eliminate 90 employees, or 2% of its staff.

The layoffs will affect both patient care and non-patient care areas. Notification of the affected employees began today.

Those laid off will be offered severance determined by their length of service, as well as outplacement support. The Dean Health is recruiting for a number of open positions, and affected employees will have the opportunity to apply for these jobs.

Dean Health System is 95% owned by physician shareholders; the remaining 5% is owned by St. Louis, Missouri’s SSM Health Care.
