North Carolina Creates Summer Youth Jobs
Post Views 2North Carolina’s Capital Area Workforce Development Board is accepting applications for its seven-week Summer Youth Employment Program, which runs from June 15th until to July 31st.
The program provides temporary employment to 600 low-income young people ages 16 to 24 from Wake and Johnston counties. They will be paid $7.25 per hour.
Applicants must be low-income or homeless, school dropouts, youth offenders, pregnant, illiterate, or in foster care.
