Eastern Washington University to Cut 110 Employees

Eastern Washington University may cut 110 jobs, as it faces $26 million in budget reductions.

Almost half of the jobs are already vacant. The school plans to increase class size, and may raise tuition.

Founded in 1882, Eastern Washington University is a public comprehensive state university. The main campus is located in Cheney, Washington and has a branch campus in Spokane. As of Fall 2008, it had an enrollment of 13,895.
