Texas Walmart Store Hiring 60 Workers

Walmart is hiring 60 workers for its store in Georgetown, Tex., which is close to unveiling a “massive” renovation project.

Construction on the project began April 4 and is slated to be completed in June, the Austin Business Journal reports. The company did not say how much the project cots, but indicated it includes a full remodeling, inside and out. According to a press release, the new design is “clean, open and bright” with bright interior paint, low-profile shelving and wider aisles.

Walmart has more than 8,400 retail units under 55 different banners in 15 countries. The company had $405 billion in sales in fiscal year 2010.
