V.P. Biden Predicts Good News in Jobs Report

While the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics monthly employment report  for May won’t be finalized until Friday, Vice President Joe Biden recently said Americans can expect to see a big increase in the number of new jobs created last month.

There were about 290,000 jobs added in April and Biden said he expects May’s number “is going to be well beyond that,” Reuters reports. Biden made the comments at a Democratic Party fundraiser in New York.

A Reuters poll of financial analysts is predicting the report will show 513,000 new U.S. jobs were created in May.
