georgiaflag_160x120Up to 400 new jobs are coming to Jackson County in northeast Georgia. The Associated Press reports electronics retailer Systemax, the parent company of Comp USA and circuitcity.com among others, is opening a new facility there that will be a combination distribution center, call center and retail warehouse.

Hiring of staff needed to open the facility has already concluded, but the company says it will soon add more workers in a variety of capacities to serve the multi-purpose facility. Systemax is the fourth company to open a distribution center in Jefferson, Ga. this year.

Other companies that opened distribution operations in the city this year are Aldi, Dayton Superior, Safelite Auto Glass and TranSouth Logistics. Combined they have provided close to 700 new jobs.
