Saba Hires Former Biosystems VP Joan Cronin

Saba, the premier people systems provider, has appointed Joan Cronin to the position of senior vice president and chief people officer.

Cronin’s position was created for arrival to Saba’s executive team. She will work to extend the company’s efforts in using organizational empowerment to attract, develop and progress company leaders.

Before being tapped by Saba, Cronin worked at Life Technologies, where she served as vice president and chief talent officer. Prior to Life, Cronin served as the VP of human resources for Biosystems. Her experience is in talent acquisition, organizational development skills and human capital maximization.

President and CEO of Saba, Bobby Yazdani, said this about Cronin’s hire: “[Cronin’s] expertise and experience as an HR executive will help Saba cultivate, align and motivate a people-driven business.
