GE to Hire 500 New High-Tech Workers in Texas
Post Views 1Things are looking up for GE Transportation today. The company has had a strong backing by the U.S. and is expanding jobs because of it. They are opening a new plant in Fort Worth Texas that will have $96 million invested into the facility and open 500 high-tech jobs, which will surely help the Northern Texas economy. Texas even went so far as to provide up to $4.2 million towards the project through the Texas Enterprise Fund. Production on this is set to happen in 2012. In addition GE is also hiring 250 additional workers for its plant in Erie, PA.
