Bill to expand FLSA computer exemption in Senate passed

The Senate passes a new bill that makes IT workers listed as “exempt” under payroll. This bill is designed for those who work on computers and information technology that don’t get paid over time. The Computer Professionals Update Act (CPU) duties would expand and would stretch to those FLSA’s computer employees.
