Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, spoke to the Society of Human Resource Management in her hometown Chicago. She acknowledged their efforts in finding more jobs for veterans and the efforts to better educate the future generations. In her speech, she mentions the various leadership lessons that she has learned during her position as the Secretary of State. She said that leadership is based on evidence and not ideology, on teamwork, on following trends, participation is key and that a whisper is louder than a shout. Her speech was welcomed and applauded especially when she addressed the issues of today, like healthcare and immigration laws.
