Post Views 2Emergency medical technicians from Sanford Regional Hospital in Worthington, MN claimed they should receive overtime pay for time spent on-call. Because the technicians needed to be ready to report to their ambulances within six minutes, and thus were unable to enjoy the time off for personal use, as per the Fair Labor Standard Act rules, the Department of Labor ruled they were owed $77,515 in back wages.
