Supreme Court Rules in Wal-Mart’s Favor in Sex-bias Case Ruling
Post Views 0The US Supreme Court has overturned a ruling by a US appeals court that would allow a class action suit to proceed in the largest sex-discrimination lawsuit in history, with more than a million female employees nationwide that would have been part of the suit. The lawsuit is 10 years old, and now, according to the Supreme Court’s ruling, cannot proceed as a class-action lawsuit. The court did not make any ruling about the allegations of individual sex-discrimination in the case.
