New Hampshire Wind Farm to Create 550 Jobs

A report by the University of New Hampshire says that a wind power project proposed for Coos County would create 550 jobs.

The Granite Reliable Power Wind Park would generate power for 40,000 homes. A ruling by the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee on the $250 million project is expected by May 6th.

Noble Environmental Power wants to put 33 wind towers, each 410 feet high, on 6.5 miles of ridgeline in what is known as the Philips Brook tract in Coos County.
