General Dynamics to Create 20 Arkansas Jobs
Post Views 3General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada has awarded General Dynamics Armament & Technical Products the contract to manufacture armor for military vehicles, creating 20 jobs at the General Dynamics plant in Camden, Arkansas.
The defense contract is worth $150 million. The Arkansas Economic Development Commission awarded General Dynamics a grant for purchase of production-related equipment.
The jobs will start this coming January.
Falls Church, Virginia-based General Dynamics Corporation is a defense conglomerate formed by mergers and divestitures, and as of 2008 it is the fifth largest defense contractor in the world.
