Fluor Gets Army Contract, Will Hire 100 in South Carolina
Post Views 1Irving, Texas-based Fluor Corporation will hire over 100 workers in Greenville, South Carolina, as part of a military contract to build and operate military bases in Afghanistan.
The US Army contract is worth $7 billion over the next five years. Fluor will manage power, food service and transportation at 62 bases in Afghanistan, plus build and manage another 12 bases.
Fluor will hire for positions in control and management, finance, procurement, estimating, subcontracting and human resources.
