Russell Investments Welcomes Beavan as Global HR Chief

Katie Beavan joins Russell Investments as its new global chief human resources officer. She will serve as a member of Russell’s Executive Committee and Global Leadership Forum.

Based in New York, Beavan will travel to the company’s headquarters in Tacoma and other key offices around the world.

Beavan joins from Robert H. Schaffer & Associates in Stamford, Connecticut. She was senior equity partner and managing partner of their London office. She was previously with BAE Systems and Morgan Stanley.

Russell Investments is a global investment company with $151 billion in assets under management as of June 2009. Headquartered in Tacoma, Washington, the firm employs 1,800 associates globally.
