CSX Intermodal Rail Yard to Create Hundreds of Jobs

CSX Intermodal has broken ground on a Baltimore, Maryland-area rail facility that will create hundreds of new jobs.

Construction of the facility, which will complete in 2011, will create 400 temporary jobs. The firm is investing $235 million.

CSX Intermodal is an intermodal company with more than 1,000 employees, serving customers from origin to destination with its own truck and terminal operations, plus the assets of a dedicated domestic container fleet. It is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
