Brian Gifford Named Vice President of Human Resources for Lufkin Industries

Brian Gifford has been named Vice President of Human Resources for Lufkin Industries.  Gifford will be the responsible party for all company policies, employee benefits, compensations, labor relations, and any environmental, health, safety, or security operations worldwide.

Lufkin Industries, Inc. produces and services high quality and high value-added oil field equipment and power transmission products globally.  It is a vertically integrated company that runs the whole gauntlet from designing and engineering, to manufacturing, selling, installing and servicing the equipment.  They are headquartered in Texas and currently have over 2,700 employees.

Gifford has worked in the oilfield service industry for some time, coming most recently from Schlumberger, Ensco International and Xtreme Coil Drilling Corporation as their HR Corporate Manager.  Gifford has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Windsor and has also completed Schlumberger’s program for HR Development, as well as the Schlumberger Forum for Executive Development.
