Idaho Governor Appoints Vicki Tokita Head of Division of Human Resources

Idaho’s Governor, C.L “Butch” Otter, has appointed Vicki Tokita as head of the Division of Human Resources. Otter has previous experience with Tokita, who has served as deputy administrator since August 2010.

Otter called Tokita “trusted and highly capable.” She has worked for state government for over 30 years, with over sixteen years of that spent in human resources related jobs.

Prior to Tokita accepting the position, Wayne Hammon served as the head of the Division of Human Resources. This, however, created a controversy because Hammon was already acting as the head of a different agency (Division of Financial Management).
